APS Abstracts

Despite earlier rumors about an early [today] deadline for the abstracts
for the May APS meeting, and conflicting web APS and DPF pages [there are a
number of DPF, not all consistent] pages, I checked with Rick Van Kooten at
Indiania, who is coordinating the abstracts, and he confirmed that the Jan.
23 deadline is in error.

For electonic submission the deadline is Jan 26. We are going to
submit two abstracts, one by Bill Davis who will describe the detector as
such and the second [to follow Bill's] by Mary Convery who will present a
report on the status of the search for dcc's and the data analysis in
general.

Mary has sent her abstract to t864-l@fnmine.fnal.gov a little while
ago, and Bill will post his shortly. Neither one has been sent in yet, and
you are invited to make comments and suggestions to them about changes. If
nothing is heard from you by the 26th, it will be assumed that you approve.
