loss monitor troubles

The loss monitor seemed entirely to regular, so I checked it' power
supply. It was plugged into channel A which appears to be dead. I
moved it to channel B, and set it to 1500 V (the knob setting of channel
A). It still appears to be counting much to regularly for my taste.

For the record, the current reading is 43.265e6. The loss monitor was
certainly working up unti the access during which we reinstalled; it
has shown an astonishingly regular gentle rise since then...
