i have combine Bill's generic plots and Bj's monitor programs into one program
on FNMINT for online monitoring. to run:

you need hoist running from another windopw to get events into the DAQ pool. so
log in FNMINT again and type
$ HOIST

to look at histograms, use
$ setup histo
$ histoscope
and connect to the "running process"

or
$ setup cern
$ pawx11
and connect ot the histograms in global shared memory with
> global mini
