shakedown runs

I've made a series of beam gas runs this evening, working on chamber
voltages. I will continue this tomorrow, being too tired now to do
much more with the care it needs.

The good news is that I think we can recover ground on some of the
inefficient chambers by raising voltages, and can probably gain a bit
on NHITS by lowering voltages on some of the other chambers without
compromising efficiency.

In the meantime, please check out the shakedown plots on FNALU in
$MINIMAX_CODE/wld/generic

Look at either run1074.ps (.hbk) or run 1075.ps(.hbk); both are
beam gas runs with a delay of 22 ns; 1074 uses Tom's nominal voltages,
1075 has an extra 100 volts on all chambers. Please check ADC's,
TDC's, etc.

The efficiency calculations are interesting--see Tom;s directory for
the .WLS files.

More tomorrow,

Cyrus
