(1) FNMINT tape drive still non-functional; Jon and I will back up the
FNMINT runs tomorrow. FNMINI *.fsp files have been backed up to tape,
and all have been moved to fnmini$dua1:[data] until tomorrow evening,
at which time the disk files will be deleted unless there are requests
for saving them. [All collider runs, and most of the recent beam gas
runs have been copied to fnalu.]

(2) I have made a series of short beam gas runs; run 1069 and 1070 are
both short, exist on fnmini$dua0:[data] and on fnalu in $MINIMAX_DATA/d11
These were intended for Tom for use in checking efficiencies, but
after porting to fnalu, I was alarmed to find that they seemed to have
only lam-5's. I now believe that this is entirely due to the fact that
Bill's new shakedown code [in $MINIMAX_CODE/wld/generic] has not been
recompiled with the new unpacker. In any event, checking run 1071
(currently in progress) online on fnmini -- seems to have all chambers
reporting nicely (?).

(3) I will let this run go to 20 K events, and then copy it over to
FNALU $MINIMAX_DATA/d11. It has the voltages on chambers 105-108
increased by 100 volts over the old settings, as Tom requested.
Tom--if you could run the efficiency stuff, I'd appreciate it. I'm
not going to attempt it tonight because I don't want to shoot myself
in the foot with software again.

(4) Much too slow a day, but...

there's always tomorrow.
