This evening Bill made a beam-gas run using the collider trigger
(B.D.PbarOR, delay=6ns) for comparison with previous runs under
similar trigger conditions. I was particularly interested in the
chamber occupancies to see if the compressed geometry might have
reduced them. (This, of course, is not a definitive test because
we were not getting collisions). Only the nanometrics chambers
are operating and some of those have serious gaps. I selected
out the chambers that are running fairly well and compared the
occupancies with previous runs. Here is the result:

Chbr run 1039 run 986 run 938

107 0.0932 0.1000 0.1093
108 0.0901 0.1175 0.0941
113 0.1264 0.1397 0.1372
114 0.1202 0.1318 0.1277
116 0.1267 0.1348 0.1354
117 0.1368 0.1637 0.1564
118 0.1555 0.1639 0.1635
119 0.1469 0.1768 0.1667

Average reduction in occupancy: 10.2%
